Is The Congress & Senate The Problem or Solution?

Well a lot of people say that I am cynical because I call things the way I see them, sometimes I may be wrong but on most occasions the appearance is what it is. Now for instance I sat there watched and listened to the Congressmen and Senators chastising the oil men, I found myself laughing.

Why? Because You see The Congressmen and Senators are just as bad, every time they need more money for their programs they just take it from us by raising taxes. You see they really take it for granted that our money is always available. I see this as a lack of respect. They don't even trust you to pay them, so they have your corrupt employer take it out of your check for you.

So when I look at Congress and big business I see a team that is suppose to be for us working against us. In public they fight, but in the back rooms theymake the deals. Now if that is cynical then that what I am. It's like paying a fox to watch the chickens, it's like hiring a child then that what I am.

It's like paying a fox to watch the chickens, it's like hiring a child molester to work in the child care center. These are the people that are supposed to have our backs and watch over us, but the only thing on our backs they watch is the wallet in our back pockets. Now I should not have to feel that way, but this is the impression I get on a daily basis by watching them.

I can't tell the good from the bad, there is really no gray area. They are the only people I know who can get their pay increases by not voting. I guess that is a good thing, because if it was up to me they would get paid according to performance which means they would not get a thing.

Now why am I so hard on the Congressmen and Senators, well it's because they are for sale, and that is a problem with me. When you are called to serve the people, I feel you should serve all the people. The poor as well as the rich, the sick as well as the healthy, the young as well as the old.

It doesn't say that I will create the biggest system of business welfare, bigger than the welfare system of which we the people may be supported. It did not say we would create such a big bureaucracy that once again is larger then any social welfare that we have in this country. If you have a Government job you are on welfare. If you are in the military you are on welfare. If you are a police office or any of the other secret services you are on welfare.

So get over the government taking care of the people who need welfare Because in someway welfare is probably taking care of you. Get over spending money for programs that keep children off the street and in the gyms. Get over spending the money on college, so we could have an educated work force. Get over spending money on a free healthcare system, but take it a step further, and fund programs that prevent health issues and that cure health issues.

People don't have problems paying the taxes, they have a problem with the taxes being abused. A Good program is not building a bridge to nowhere, or paying farmers not to produce crops because it will cut the food price. All we want is for the Congressmen and Senators to do what we pay them to do.
