Big Billion Dollar bank bailout
63Do You Have A Billion I can Borrow
Whom are they saving?
The Seven hundred billion-dollar, big bank bailout. Now I don't know about you, but I never saw a billion dollars in my life. So for us, the United States tax payers to bail out the irresponsible wall street bankers is just inconceivable. Now don't get me wrong, but when I mess up, I can't run to the Fed for a bail out. If I did, they would slap me like they did the Lehman Brothers. So I don't feel sorry for the banks that got conned, just like they don't feel sorry for the home owners that got conned.
But of course when big business messes up they always have a back up plan, and it's called the tax payer. If there is a crisis and the government needs a scape goat, well we are that goat. Now what you must understand is that if the Government makes money on this transaction that your not going to get any of it. But if it is a total bust, our Great, great grand children will be paying for this mess. But that is what happens, when you let a non government agency call the shots, They bail out their friends, of which the Lehman Brothers apparently were not, with our money.
See now it's time to cry foul, and realize that the biggest welfare is corporate. I guess I don't have much of a heart, because I say let them all fall, and then we can start over with what is left. But to promise to save the same snakes that help move jobs over seas, and help rip us off with all the unnecessary fees, I say let them fall. With All this talk about avoiding a recession, News Flash, we are already in one. I guess the best thing we can do is put on our seat belts and enjoy the ride. Because we are being taken for a ride.
Now in all seriousness, I understand the thinking that went into the decision to save several of the institutions, but that does not mean I have to like it. If we had left it alone, it would show what a good President that Bush is really not. We would have lost millions of jobs, but who's to say that we still won't. I guess what I'm trying to tell you, is that if you put a finger in the hole in the dike. It will stop the link as long as the finger is there. But the dike would still have a hole.
Well there are billions of more mortgage loans that have not reset yet, and they will not reset until 2009, 2010, and 2011. Since we have played all our cards, what do we do about them, when they reset. Will we need to come up with another 700 billion? And if we do, can we. There is two thing I believe, more jobs will be lost, and so will more money. Some people are going to get rich and some will get poor. But in the end God always seem to balance things out. But that's just my opinion.
